I love LA.
Our hearts are poured out to LA and their communities.
My best friends from Philly moved to LA and I often visit them.
I’ve met so many locals throughout my time in LA. When I was a menswear buyer for a BMX shop, I was very lucky to stay in Topanga Canyon. I got high on Mushrooms before all the legal craze and spoke to the trees. I’ve learned how to get by in LA, the different routes, cultures, and how everyone bands together in LA to make things happen.
Here are things I love about LA:
I love going to Dodger games even though I hate baseball.
I love going down Sunset Blvd and pointing out all my favorite coffeeshops.
I love working in LA and getting out as soon as possible.
I love playing tennis at the Echo Park Tennis Courts.
I record music with Chris McLaughlin in Atwater Village.
I love going to Rhonda shows with Naeem Juwan / Spankrock.
I love getting Mexican food in LA but obviously go to Mexico.
I was at the Getty Villa Museum and the SRF Lake Shrine last time I was there. I stayed in Beverly Hills at my friend Bobby’s house. I had a nice time reflecting how peaceful things were and hoped for the best. In order to get there I had to ride on the PCH. While I was driving I caught up to Jerry Seinfeld.
I miss LA when I’m not there. I’ve had so many crazy and existential memories there.
Thanks Ray’s for organizing a clothing drive to send to the YMCA in LA.
Donating my vintage to LA. Which I’m sure they’ll love.
