I see Brandon Dent every Saturday Morning

Brandon Dent is our guest on Hats.FM which you may have heard him on Wear Many Hats, seen him make a great espresso at Colbo, or tried on one of his signature Grant pieces.

WMH: What’s your favorite coffee drink to make?

BD: I love making a cappuccino - a perfect cap is hard to find and I take a lot of pride in mine. Whole milk, of course.

WMH: What’s that new drink you make at Colbo?

BD: The new drink is called Strange Matcha. We get this amazing matcha sourced by our friends at Maru, and pour it over sparkling coconut water from Strange Water.

WMH: What is your latest purchase and why?

BD: I got a 99 Harley Davidson a few weeks ago. I’ve grown up around bikes and have been itching for a new one. Also an Emily Dawn Long button down is technically my most recent purchase but hey, I had to brag a bit.

WMH: What is Grant?

BD: Grant is my clothing brand. Think workwear, Japanese fabrics, vintage inspiration etc etc. I’m thinking a lot about my youth and heritage when making these items and truly making items I’m excited to wear myself.

WMH: I know you have a Grant hat embroidered “Beware, Wine, Women, & Song” what would you get embroidered on a WMH hat?

BD: I would probably do a Saves The Day lyric, I feel like we are kindred in that. Maybe “Through Being Cool.”
